A series of vessels made entirely from bread, developed for the solo exhibition Under My Mother’s Roof in Athens. The project explores the relationship between function and value through a material that is familiar, temporary, and closely connected to everyday domestic life. Shaped using processes associated with traditional vessel making, the bread becomes an object that resembles something functional while no longer serving its expected purpose. The pieces reflect on food, craft, and the often overlooked forms of making that take place within the home.
