These cork and glass lamps were developed in collaboration with Amorim Cork and Rockwell Group for Milan Design Week. Virgin cork bark was used as a mold for hot glass, transferring its natural texture onto the glass while the heat left visible traces of the making process on the cork itself. The same cork then became the base of each lamp, bringing the mold and final object together. The project explores the relationship between material, process, and craft, allowing the act of making to remain visible in the finished pieces.
